Ray White collects over 30,000 gifts for underprivileged children this Christmas
Ray White’s annual A little Ray of giving Christmas gift drive has wrapped up for another year, and 2015 has been the biggest year in its history with over 300 offices across Australia and New Zealand participating and over 30,000 gifts delivered to disadvantaged families this festive season – almost double that of last year.
Each Ray White office collected approximately 120 gifts on average, with standout collections by Ray White Allambie Heights who collected the most (800) thanks to the energy of Principal Ken Snell who was the original founder of A little Ray of giving, followed by Ray White Double Bay (550) and in New Zealand Ray White Ferrymead collected the most gifts with a total of 346.
In it’s fourth year, A little Ray of giving has helped thousands of underprivileged children since it’s inception in 2012. This year saw gifts handed out to a diverse range of charities including Rotary Australia, Bear Cottage, CatholicCare, and Mission Australia amongst a raft of others. Ray White offices in New Zealand partnered with Ronald McDonald House to bring some joy to families with children receiving specialist medical care this Christmas.
Ray White Group’s Head of Marketing, Lisa Phillips was thrilled with the impact of this year’s contribution from each Ray White office. “A little Ray of giving has become integral within our network of offices, and every year it gets bigger and better. 2015 has been our strongest year yet with a record number of offices participating, and a record number of gifts delivered to children and their families this Christmas,” she said.
